Schedule C:

Excess Strength Surcharge

This charge is in effect for users whose wastewater exceeds the allowable base for the biochemical oxygen demand.  Surcharge will be computed & applied to wastewater strength loadings based on the most recent monitoring data and monthly usage volume.

   Environmental Compliance Division conducts analysis of all wastewater samples pertaining to local, state
   and federal regulations.  We are responsible for cleaning all wastewater collected throughout the city.  On the
   average, our plant treats 11½ -12 million gallons of water daily.  (Tours and Presentations are available
   through the Main Office.)
